This is the Rainbow Resource Room at the University of Wyoming. It's a place
for LGBTQ & their Allies to check out a book or video on LGBTQ issues.
We used this room for several interviews.
This is the site of JJ's Bar, formerly known as the Fireside Bar.  This is where Matthew
Shepard came before he was taken to the fence.  It was very emotional for me walking in here
as I knew I would be able to see the spot where Matt sat when Henderson and McKinney
came up to him.  The picture on the right is where Matt was sitting having a beer that night.
The stool on the corner is where he was sitting.
This lovely young girl was wonderful to
interview.  She is an activist and student at the
University of Wyoming.
Film crew out at the fence where Matt
was beaten, tied up and left to die.
More filming at the fence.  It was a beautiful day and very peaceful.  We paid our respects to Matt
and had a group hug of silence.  Notice my shadow at the bottom left hand picture. My shadow
under the fence is where Matt had laid, tied up on that cold October night in 1998.
This is a bench on the University of Wyoming campus dedicated in honor to Matthew
Shepard.  You can read the inscription in picture two of the plaque.
