I still can't believe that three pissed-off 20-something-year-olds were
able to create such an enormous, powerful event, and we definitely
have you to thank for your contribution to making it successful. Your
speech was moving and uplifted the entire audience.

Greg Baird was a dynamic speaker that engaged our students on
campus. While discussing “Celebrating Diversity, Acceptance and
Community”, Greg told personal stories with a touch of comedic
humor that our students definitely could relate to. He shared his
experiences and students briefly had a chance to walk in his shoes.
Students understood that Change comes from speaking Up and not
keeping quiet about the injustices that occur.

Greg was a wonderful speaker. He related to the students and made
it easy for everyone to discuss the topics he presented. He is by far
one of the best LGBT speakers out there! Students are still talking
about him!

"Over the years, we have hosted several GLBT speakers here in
Laramie, but Greg certainly stands out from the crowd. His story-
telling presentation style was quite refreshing, and kept the
audience interested. It felt like a conversation instead of a lecture,
making many feel more welcome and willing to interact with Greg. He
blended together powerful stories of his own expereince with current
facts on legislation and politics. He is informative, touching and
approachable.
He is engaging and dynamic, using multimedia to enliven his
presentation.
Above all, Greg is unflinchingly human, and this comes across so
clearly as he speaks. He doesn't talk to the audience, he talks with
them."

Baird's entertaining and humorous speaking style drives home
information that society needs to hear. He is known for presenting
controversial issues about gay rights in a way that is acceptable to
people who have difficulty with this subject.

His multifaceted approach incorporates humor and personal
anecdotes to weave a tale of one man's life experiences that anyone
can identify with and understand.

Clarity, humor and honesty are keys to success for any presenter.
Your presentation reflected these qualities and I wholeheartedly
thank you for presenting your wonderful lecture "Coming out with
Courage and Humor" at McHenry County College.
I truly appreciated the courage you displayed in speaking honestly
about your experiences and the leadership you exuded by
challenging all of us to stand up for the very basic human rights of
all individuals. It was a message we will not soon forget.

I think what I experienced from our guest speaker is that it doesn't
matter who you are, gay or not, in interpersonal relationships with
friends and family, we all need love and the need to express it. I
guess when it comes to love were all the same.

Mr. Baird was a very moving man, and I am grateful that I had the
opportunity to hear him speak. The straight community needs to be
educated about gay people and how they are in every aspect
possible like us except for whom they are sexually attracted to. I
know that I would definitely attend another speech about this topic.
- M. Ondrusek
college student
Greg has a lot of wisdom, and knowledge that governs his ways.
He's a 43 year old man that could pass for much younger! He is the
ideal guy for gay youth to turn to, and for straight youth to listen to. I
respect his wishes to help. He is a great guy. His stories were funny.
They brought us to understand what it's really like to be in his shoes.
His whole family history was important to include, to bring the
audience to an overall understanding for each situation he was
faced with. Everyone was on the edge of their seat
- ME. Engle
NCMC college student
"Greg was a very informational and motivational speaker with a
message that was both interesting and entertaining. He has a very
important and serious message that he relays in a way that anyone
can understand and appreciate."
